AIX
Rarely do I visit a restaurant and fully form my opinion of it within the first 5 minutes of being there. But, I had just returned from France, and walking into a Provencal restaurant the next day was the best cure for the missing-Europe blues. And course after course, Aix did not disappoint.
A Beautiful Start
I ordered several drinks, and each of them were unlike any cocktail I have recently had. The bar is beautiful and full of lots of unique ingredients. I am pretty sure this was called Dasies and Rubies, and I highly recommend.
On a side note, I judge restaurants (in my head) based on their menus and silverware - they certainly impressed there!
Oh my lamb
Provencal lamb…might not be on the menu anymore tho…but it doesn’t erase the fact that THIS.WAS.BOMB!!!!!

It was soooo worth it
French cuisine seems to be so trendy at the moment - several french fine dining restaurants have opened this year in Atlanta. But, Aix holds a special place in my day dreams - I can’t wait to return again and try what they have to offer for the fall. Try it out and let me know how much you love it!
